Jomtien Beach Walk Photos
Jomtien Beach in Pattaya is a great place to stay. If you like a laid back, quiet place to live while visiting Pattaya, away from the 24 hour madness and noise, Jomtien may be for you.
The beach walk is gorgeous. You can start anywhere, and walk all the way down to the point at Pratumnak Hill. It’s a good long walk, maybe 1.5 hours, if you take your time. If you hurried (why would you?) it might take 45 minutes.
The beach road before Threppraya Road has restaurants and shops, so grab some water and snacks, if you wish. Once you pass Threprayya Road, it’s all beach, and you will be restricted to buying drinks at the little vendor stands. No problem there – they have cold water and soft drinks, and some have beer. There’s only one place that I saw to relieve yourself, and it’s pretty far down, so maybe stop before you go that far. There is one or two restaurants on the right side of that walk. One was open and looked very nice. One was under construction and was almost completed.
